My Trip... To Nowhere ~ Chapter Three

I was lying down on something soft... something... bouncy. Eh... I'm on my bed at home. Safe. I yawned, and turned on my right, keeping my eyes closed, not willing to wake up. I should get up to school. I yawned again, and rubbed my eyes. I opened them, expecting to see the ceiling of my bedroom. Instead I saw symbol-like letters on the ceiling. They looked familiar... Still groggy, I sat up and blinked. Then I got the shock of my life.

I was lying on a huge four poster bed with deep crimson hangings, and matching covers. They had gold patterns embroidened on them. The room... was huge. There were mahogany coloured furniture around... dressing tables, wardrobes, cupboards.... What on Earth??? The carpet was coloured deep crimson as well. I was stunned. Then suddenly. it all came back to me... the blinding white flash, the growing star... the star??? Wait, hooooold on. That was no star. Nothing made sense. I made my mind rewind to try and remember what happened, and how I ended up here. But I could remember nothing else... except for that mysterious white light and that... "star." Has that "star" got something to do with this? It must have...

I jumped out of bed, and strode accross the room, to the window on my left. I looked out. I could barely see anything... it was so... black. But I knew, whatever room I'm in, wherever it is, that we're travelling somewhere. I touched the glass. It felt refreshingly cool. I walked back to the bed, my mind spinning. I felt unusually light as I walked. I sat on the edge of the bed, and clinged onto one of the posts. This is bizarre... absolutely bizarre. Where the hell am I?? Suddenly, terrifying thoughts were running through me, am I being kidnapped? Why do they want me? Was I abducted? Then my felt my blood running cold. I remembered. I remembered one of my lasts thoughts about the "star." "UFO". No... theres no such thing as UFO's and Aliens.... or is there?

Then there was a knock on the door opposite the four poster bed.

I knew that this is not going to be my mom walking through the door.

Or my dad.

Or my little brother.

Or anybody I even knew.

But I did know that it will not be anyone ordinary.
